I made this fun card with the exciting new Digital kit by Echo Park called "grandpa's shed". It's available soon at JessicaSprague.com. I also used the Silhouette Cameo to print and cut all of the shapes (as well as add the holes to the pegboard. I used a bit of paint to make things messy. I hope you like it!
I used gold brands for the screws. I took a screwdriver and a hammer and dented them to make the groves in the screws.

Thank You Card
I stole this idea from "cards" magazine. There is a very similar card which is yellow based, adds a ribbon and spells out "YOU". I love the simplicity of it.

Using Silhouette Studio Software on IPAD
Did you know you can use the Silhouette Studio software on your IPAD? I was skeptical, but I tried anyway and it worked!
I downloaded an app on the IPAD called Splashtop. It's an application that mirrors your desktop/laptop computer. Anything that is on your computer will run on the laptop.
I have to say, it's not as easy to use as setting at my desktop/laptop and using a mouse, but it can be done. Also, I can't print/cut without being right by my base unit to load the paper/mat. However, I can sit in front of the TV while my honey watches TV and create a design using only my IPAD. It takes a little playing around with it to get used to the commands using your finger in lieu of a mouse, but I figured it out in a matter of a couple of minutes of playing.
The Splashtop App is $6.99 for your IPAD. It's $2.99 for your Iphone. Yep, you can use the software on your Iphone, too, but let me just say, that's not easy.... or worth it in my opinion.
I'm at work now, but when I get home, I will try and take some photos or video to show you how it works. I'm so excited!
Not only can I access the Silhouette Software, but my Photoshop, and all the other software on my base unit.
This video is poor and cuts out in the middle, I tried to record it quickly this morning and found it hard to hold the phone to record while trying to manipulte the software, but you can see, it does work.

Any Occassion Card
Yet another card from Girls Night. Again, I was using scraps from another project and came up with this super simple card that could be used for any occasion. I may add a sentiment... then again, I may not!

Baby you can drive my car - scrapbook layout
I had my friends over last night for a crafty/girl night. We had a great time.
I decided I was going to make an actual 3D layout. I haven't done that in so long!
The pictures are of my daughter who is now 23 years old. I just love the cute chubby cheeks and the big grin!
I based this layout off the card I posted on August 17th.
It felt so good to do a layout with no particular direction, no paper requirements, just total freedom.
I was pretty happy with the final product. Of course, I should've gotten a lot more done, but you know how it is when you're with "the girls". We talked, ate, drank and did a little crafting.
I switched to card making after this layout, but I think I've got the bug now.... I want to do another layout.

Baby Card
I made this card with the same cardstock as the post below. I used a Martha Stewart Punch for the elephants and a Stampin' Up Scallop border punch.

One of a Kind Card - Free Silhouette Cut File for Card Layout
I made this card which was inspired by a scrapbook layout I saw on Pinterest. It's pretty simple, but I thought it turned out pretty cute. The papers are some old, old papers I had in my stash. I made a similar cut file for the Silhouette. The cut file is for an A2 size card. The card above is is 5.5 x 5.5, but the layout is exactly the same. If you'd like the cut file, you can find it HERE.

I'm so excited. I made a digital mini album tutorial for Jessica Sprague's Project Plaza Hybrid Tutorials and it went live today!! If you'd like to see it, click HERE.
I used some fun digi papers from Pink Paislee. You can download the photoshop files, clip your own photos into place, assemble and voila, you've got a great mini album for a loved one, a keepsake or make one for both.
While you're over at the PROJECT PLAZA page, check out the other awesome tutorials. There are some really great projects and new projects are added every Thursday.

Silhouette Treat Box / Teacher Gift
I made this using my Silhouette Cameo and a fun digital kit by Design by Dani called It's Elementary which will be available soon at JessicaSprague.Com
I filled it with Smarties. Every teacher wants a classroom full of Smarties.... right?
If you'd like to make this I used the template called Popcorn box available at the Silhouette Studio online store. I shrank it down a bit so that it would fit on 8.5 x 11 and still be able to have registration marks (since I used digital papers). I've also included a video to show you how to assemble.

Silhouette Studio Online Store vs Cricut Cartridges
I've had a lot of people ask me what kind of images are available from the Silhouette store, so I thought the easiest way to explain is to show you. He's a quick peek into the Silhouette store and the different types of images, designs, etc that are available.
