I've been wanting to use this cute little bird from Home Decor... finally had an idea.. though my inking technique needs some work....I can't seem to keep it just on the embossed part... but hey, I'm a work in progress! lol

Decided I better try some of those cards that the Pink Stamper enabled me to buy the cartridges for.... lol

I've been under the weather for a week or better, so I haven't had a chance to create anything... I was looking through my photos though and I found some of the first cards I made...I was so proud of them...lol I tend to stick to very basic cards (mostly inspired by videos by the Pink Stamper)... but for what it's worth, here they are.

Made this card this morning. I found an awesome deal on a scrapbook package that was on clearance for $6 including an album, embellies, ribbon, etc.. regular $25, I didn't particularly like the album, but it had some really cute paper and whatnot. All of this is from the kid except the green base cardstock.

My Daughter's Mother's Day Wish

My daughter is in Florida for a short vacation and couldn't be here for Mother's Day, but she sent me this today... I thought it was so cute!

Izzy had her babies!

Hey everyone.. I'm such a dork! My kitty, Izzy, had her babies last night. She had two of them about 12:30 last night, I stayed up with her... they were so cute.... I thought she was done.. but when I got up this morning there were a total of SIX!!!! Good lord, I'm really becoming the cat lady.. I've got two dogs and now NINE cats! I certainly hope some of my friends (six of them to be exact...LOL) want a kitten in about 6 weeks. Here's a photo.. I'm like a proud grandma.. can you imagine what it will be like when I actually have grandchildren!?!?!

Prom 2009

I'm not at all liking this layout... I'm just not on my game today.  I hate that.  I have the day off, I wanted to scrap.. but everything is just not clicking.. I think I'm trying too hard.  I did remove some of the bling from this layout.. I think the photo corners are too much on the left hand page... maybe just put them on one of the main photos?

My son just went to his Junior prom with a good friend of his.  His whole group of friends went together, there were 24 of them at the restaurant before the dance. They are a great group of kids and I think all but two couples just went as friends.  I love the colors of the girls dresses this year.   Alex looked soooo handsome.. of course I'm not biased!!  lol   I think I OD'd on the bling but it was all black and silver.. I thought the layout needed some color.  Let me know what you think.

Challenge #3 - create a kids project.  I did a scrapbook page from a spring break my kids spent with their grandma.  I actually found another picture to fill in that yellow part of the circle, but I didn't redo the photo.
